I'm going to put this out there right now. This is real talk, so if you can't take that, you better click that back button right now, if not you're welcome to leave your opinion in the comments below. This is not some juvenile act of rebellion to gain attention. This is actually a carefully thought-out strategic move from my personal and professional life, to show the powers that be, that I still have a voice and it's worth protecting. So what am I doing exactly, I'm deleting Social Media from my life permanently.
This is a lot harder than you would actually think, not having any social media presence makes me a bit of a unicorn in today’s tech-obsessed society, having said that, my mental health is a lot happier without social media. I choose not to be part of this whole world because I see the negative feedback cycle of being on social media. I’ve read the reports about how people feel sad on social media … and I just don’t want to make that part of my life.
